Better than google and apple maps in every way when it comes to hiking. You will need a premium account to download maps for when you lose signal so best used alongside Walk Highlands extensive list of downloadable route maps.

Compass, altimeter and map reading course all in one place. Best of all it gives you a 6 figure grid reference for wherever you are even without signal. Has 14K positive ratings for a reason.
